The AWC Springfield, Illinois Chapter Member Scholarship is intended to provide financial support to self-employed or self-paying AWC members for the Springfield, Illinois Chapter.
The chapter offers the opportunity for a $50 scholarship to new and existing professional members; $25 to student members. The scholarship serves as a refund towards an individual’s AWC membership dues and is not intended to be renewed annually. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Awards will be made to qualified applicants until funds are depleted annually.
With this investment in our members, it is expected that the member be an active participant in the chapter and attend at least three AWC events during their scholarship in order to invest their time and talent back into the chapter.
New members: please submit a national membership application online or via pdf form, and check the option to join the Springfield chapter. The scholarship, if awarded, will be processed after the national AWC staff confirms you as a member. If the scholarship is approved, a check will be issued to you.
