Large Springfield-based trade association seeks
Communications Associate as key member of this four-person
communications department. Involves interviewing and writing
editorial content for association publications including magazine
and newsletters and news releases. Designing promotional materials
including e-mail marketing and updating Web site content. Strategic
planning for association involvement with social media. Assist in
coordination of monthly statistical program and reporting and
maintain news media distribution lists. Candidate must have a
bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications field, with
related work experience. Strong proofreading, research, writing and
computer skills with Powerpoint, Excel, Quark Xpress, Photoshop a
plus. Multi-task oriented. Seeking individual with 2+ years of
experience. Salary commensurate with experience, excellent benefits
